I was always a legos boy as a kid. I would seriously sit for hours every day building vehicles and space ships out of various lego parts that I had been collecting from garage sales over time. We never really had the money for lots and lots of legos, or the special versions with the cool pieces that you always see advertised on television. But what is great about them is that they’ve been around for so long that you can still find a few of them cheap. I always envied the kids with k’nex, or erector sets… like the kid on The Sand Lot… oh I wish I had those things as a kid, I think I turned out alright without them but it would of been fun to build with.

Now kids have Magnext though! Of all of the Building toys around Magnext definitely take a top slot! My first encounter with MagNext brand was in Michigan when I was visiting my wife’s family, her grandma had some MagNext toys… and lets just say I felt like a little kid again building structures out of these magnetically attachable pieces! They’re great because they have endless potential as they use magnets and steel balls you can add to, or expand your set with various other parts!

Ah, to be a kid again! At least I get to go through it all over again when my son is born!

haha, just upgraded to the new Wordpress 2.7 and there’s a lot about the layout that I love, things that are back to how they used to be (such as categories, and tags on the right hand side). Of course I wait to make the switch until I am getting back into the blog realm though… should of done it two weeks ago when I wasn’t really doing anything so that I could get used to the sight of it. It’s actually kind of odd that I’ve become so acustomed to it as much as I have… it’s just a more comfortable layout. After less than an hour of using it I’ve got it mostly figured out.

Anyways, I’ve got to get on with writing some other stuff so I can try to make $100 in the next 3 days, and $500 before I start mid month or so with LifeTouch.

Everybody knows that in todays society you MUST be able to process credit cards in order to survive as a business! Even people like myself that don’t use credit cards still use plastic in one form or another. Even though I hate credit cards and refuse to use them myself I still almost NEVER use cash. I carry my debit card with me all the time, and when I need to pay for something guess what comes into play! When I get somewhere that requires cash only… most of the time I just leave there’s no point in me staying somewhere I can’t pay!

Online is even worse because you can’t really accept cash, checks are risky, and a lot of online purchases are quick decisions so if you can’t accept their form of payment you lose their business forever!

Something else to look at in these down times is how much working capital does your business have? Historically recessions are a great time to make a mint! That is if you’ve got the money to buy and hold onto things for the upturn. Buying land and homes in this time is amazing if you’ve got the money! Material prices are low, but if you don’t have the working capital to purchase them… well how are you going to survive with your business? That’s why a business loan from OnlineCheck.com is such a great opportunity for you!

Man… it’s been nice these last couple of months being able to blog here on Archmaille.com but let’s face it I don’t want to be sitting here blogging FOREVER! Especially with how SS and P3 have been acting lately! Yeah, I know they’re trying to salvage business by pleasing the advertisers… but seriously does that mean screwing the bloggers around every corner? Because that’s what you all are doing. I was very happy with the P3 campaign that I ran the last time for ArchmailleDesigns.com it just wasn’t quite enough to hold positions for too terribly long (happens because you get the front page of a site for a while and awesome quality, and then it falls off to further back pages as more entries are added) the goal as of now is to get TONS of new copper items up on the site… or at least five new patterns in both necklace and bracelet form… So 10 new items. I’m also going to be getting new supplies (beads, clasps, etc.) that will allow me to REALLY expand my copper jewelry market.

I’ve picked a number of terms for Google that should bring in about 50,000 searches every month and give me a good foothold. In total I’ll be buying about 50 links… of course requiring two incoming links one to the homepage which will be for silver jewelry (a term searched 673,000 a month on Google) that I’m currently on page 3 for… and of course the copper related terms that will bring in a combined 50,000 searches… If the rule of 10% has anything to say about how many visitors come to my site I should be looking at 5,000 copper jewelry lookers! And if things go well with everything else (raising LQ enough to get top 10 for my other stuff) I should be looking at about 100,000 visitors to my site every month looking for some sort of silver/copper jewelry! If that doesn’t bring in sales… well I must admit I don’t know what will!

Of course this will also be my last campaign until I make my money back from it as well… which in total campaign $350 new jewelry supplies $125 the old campaign already paid for itself in a matter of weeks, but then again that was also Christmas time… hoping to pull something off for Valentines day… but you never know. So I’m a little bit anxious about the whole idea… at the same time I’ve almost got to do it just to see if it all works out ya know?

Oh right… haha, and my other idea that I was throwing around… was to get rid of this website. I’d turn it back into a 301 redirect to ArchmailleDesigns.com like it was before… I really think I’ll only do that if things go well with the campaign to hold a more stable position… because I really REALLY enjoy having a PR3 blog to fall back on for P3 stuff… of course if all goes well I can spend $200 and make another site PR3 using P3… That way I’ve got some stuff to fall back on.

Are you feeling down on your looks? Many people all around the world are looking for ways or that magic fix for their looks. Unfortunately with all the products, and all of the creams that are sold in our drug stores none of them provide the uplift you need to look and feel your absolute best! My cousin has recently gotten into a tooth whitening business, and it’s funny to see his pallets of tooth colors because there really is only so far the human body can go on its own. No matter what without some sort of unnatural stimulus you can’t be your best… and that goes for many other body parts as well!

Cosmetic surgery is often the only way you can get to the best you possible! Many women, especially with age, begin to suffer from saggy or droopy breasts, a rather unattractive feature to anyone. That’s why you can get a cosmetic breast uplift that will make you as perky and free as when you were 20! Make your husbands jaw drop again, or get all the boys at the bar drooling over you with a cosmetic surgery breast uplift, because we know nature isn’t going to do it for you! Feel confident and proud to show off your new look after achieving the best you possible with MYA Cosmetic Surgery!

Wow it’s been a little bit of a lull from posting! There was that one week that I planned a lull… and then things got busy and I went to Michigan so there went another week… then with the wedding planning things went even MORE downhill for posting… But now that I am a married man, and the Holidays are coming to a close I’ll be able to pick back up and start making money again!

My main source that I’m worried about for money is ArchmailleDesigns.com It’s my sterling silver jewelry website, and well I’d like to get the site into full swing again! I did the best I’ve ever done over the Holidays this year… thanks to some recent moves in the SERPs my site got just the traffic it needed to start making a little bit of money! Now I’ve also launched a new shopping cart with it, with features like an affiliate program, downloadable items, discount coupons, and much more! So with the combination of that, and an increase in variety and stock here coming up I think for the upcoming Valentines Day rush my site should be able to make a little bit of money!

When I think of designer rings there really is one place that comes to mind first and foremost. That’s because this particular company puts time, and energy into creating the most elegant, and and finely crafted rings possible. Tacori creates many of the most beautiful designer diamond rings around. Personally I’m not much of a rings person, I’ve never really worn them, so starting now just feels funny to me a lot of the times. Either way I can still recognize beauty when I see it. The quality and craftsmanship in Tacori rings is what separates them from the rest of the so called fine jewelers out there.

If I had the choice or the money for it I would of got a Tacori when I proposed to Rose. Yeah a lot of the times designer engagement rings are really over rated. Tacori on the other hand doesn’t just hike their prices up because it says Tacori on the tag, they do brilliant work that makes them stand out from the rest! If you’re looking to propose, or going to get something special for the one you love this year for Christmas stop by any authorized Tacori dealer, or pick your jewelry out online and have it delivered!

Okay, so there has been a little bit of a fiasco with my computer (as I described briefly in my previous post about WordPress 2.7) that actually turned out to be not what I expected. My motherboard that I was using had issues… it had issues from the day I bought it, only noticed like 90 days afterwards when I went to start overclocking. I never got very far with overclocking because my stock CPU voltage that should of been running at 1.250 volts was running at 1.1 volts, and it took everything the motherboard had to just get it up to 1.2 so needless to say there never was much to be done on the overclocking front with that POS motherboard. I always left it at stock speed so that it could last until I could replace the mobo… that day never came. Last week I ran into a problem though, after taking my computer apart and cleaning everything I started getting BSODs every time I turned the computer on!

Finally after three days of this I got a hint into what was causing it (I was testing different things for a while, Windows had updated, and thought it might of been a software issue, but wasn’t able to get the computer to stay on long enough to test that theory out). I started getting messages on the USB bus running at the wrong voltage… so instantly I thought it had to be the motherboard. In the process of ordering a new motherboard, I figured a small upgrade couldn’t hurt so I also got an AMD Phenom 9850 since they’re close to $150 now, combined with an AMD 790GX motherboard I figured I’d have a pretty rock solid system… except since they new 9850 runs at 1066 RAM speeds I figured I’d upgrade that too so I got 8 gigs of 1066 RAM… to find out that with four sticks installed it runs at 800 speeds anyways.

Anyways, after I installed everything the extra power consumption was causing BSODs sooner… So the next place I thought might be the problem was my PSU. Kind of a long shot since PC Power and Cooling makes good products… but I do have one of the first generation 1KW PSUs that had the single 12v rail so maybe there was an issue with that. After visiting Best Buy to grab a 700w power supply (hoping it was enough power for my energy sucking computer) it STILL had BSODs ass soon as Windows started up… I pulled my computer apart again and just started looking everything over… I mean the only thing left is the hard drives… I considered pulling my main drive and reinstalling windows on another one… kept messing with things until I finally realized that my pump wasn’t running. Saddened and disheartened that I would have to use stock cooling for a while and figure something out how to hide my water cooling system I kept messing with things until I found that one of the pins on the molex connector for my pump had pulled out. So I pushed it back in, and taped it in place.

I still made out ahead in the deal. I’ve now got 8 gigs of RAM, a sweet motherboard, and a quad core processor that pwns everything! Yeah, I know there’s stuff faster on the market but for a $400 upgrade… I must say this is a HUGE performance upgrade for me… now when I get the money I just need to move to RAID 5EE and I’ll be sitting pretty for the next few years.

well guys and girls wordpress 2.7 is finally here. Once again we have a redesigned backend, and many other exciting features! This is one of the first times that I’ve not updated right away… but sometimes I like to wait with big releases for their updates as in the .1 releases to avoid any security issues. I have been waiting for 2.7 though, so I’ll be updating very soon… that is as soon as I have a working computer again. (Long story in itself, but lets just say I was stupid and fried my computer… for once not overclocking either).

For those of you who have been waiting for WP 2.7 as well watch this video to just get a taste of what there is to offer with the new launch!

If your computer is hooked to the internet, whether it is PC, Linux, or Mac you’re in danger of of having your information stolen, files lost, or being infected with a virus. Even the Mac corporation has warned its users to start installing Antivirus Software. Antivirus Software has been available for and encouraged for both Windows machines and Linux for a long time now. Linux because it controls a major stake in the server market, and windows because it is the most popular operating system around. But in actuality nobody is safe from the threat of infection by a computer virus. Especially since Mac computers that were once thought to be invulnerable to computer virus programs have now become the easy prey. With the increase in market share by Mac computers and at a recent hacker convention the Mac computer was compromised a full day before either Windows or Linux had been breached. Also with Windows offering free Antivirus Software, and free Malware protection in 2009 that leaves everyone else with an extra layer behind Windows in terms of security. Using only one form of antivirus software is rarely enough though, generally as a rule of thumb I try to keep my computer protected with two antivirus softwares, and at least one anti-spyware, with AdAware to keep ad programs at bay. Of course it sounds like a lot of protection, with how much I work and play online, you can never be too careful with your computers sensitive information.
