Wow, so I’m so excited about what is going on with Jordan and I’s new website www.easysimplesidemoney.com it has taken off! Over 240 new people in the last two days! Mostly thanks to the amazing social networking tool StumbleUpon! with over 100 people a day being sent from stumbleupon with the FIRST submission… “wow” is all I can say!

I guess people like the idea of making money on-line. Not that I blame them I do too. I think my story about the frontier land that the internet is sort of explains it. People are romanticized by the frontier… unfortunately a lot of them don’t truly want the frontier and will eventually ruin it for the rest of us. Right now, it’s a perfect, and exciting time to be in the frontier of the internet!

It’s kind of funny how us humans are programed. It’s almost like we’re wired to disobey. Well I know for a fact that it comes as first nature to us to disobey… God gave us a mind of our own for a reason, so that we could make our own decisions, so we could praise him by choice, not by force. In fact we tend to lean towards freedom more often because of this wiring too. When we’re given freedom, or the illusion of freedom to do things how we want we excel, when told what, how, and when to do things we shrink and never meet our full potential.

I was having my little moment because on P3 there was an opportunity about debt consolidation. I’ve had a million of them before… In fact I had one a couple of days ago that I wrote nearly 300 words for. I just kind of had fun with it and it went from there… there wasn’t any real pressure or strict guidelines on it either. Now there’s one that demands 300 words, this, that, and the other thing… and in all honesty I don’t even want to do it. It’s been up for several days which is odd most get grabbed up in a matter of hours when they’re $10 or more. But not this one… which either means that they’ve got a huge budget, or that people are being like me and can’t get the motivation to write when forced to do things their way… how can the creative juices flow through a straw? I need a 12 foot wide sewer pipe for my creativity to run through. It’ll get narrowed down, and be 99% the way they’re asking it to be anyways… so why am I having troubles? I guess I just don’t like being told what and how to do my job.

WildIrishRose and I were talking the other day about how silly this concept of the president actually “running” the country is.В  We say it and hear it all the time, especially now in an election year there’s debate going on all over about who should be running our country next.В  As we were laughing at the totally rediculous notion that the government (even in a situation like Communism) even remotely controls what goes on in our daily lives she says “Yeah, the government can’t give me an orgasm!”

We both had a good laugh at the statement.В  And I decided it was funny enough to put up as a blog entry.В  If you really look at things, people are best left to themselves.В  Governments like to take credit for everything, but in all honesty all they do is get in trouble.В  You have people who live thousands of miles away from you, in pretty shinney houses, who have not the slightest clue as to what your life is like trying to tell you how things should be for you, how you should accomplish your goals.В  It was made immediately clear to me that neither candidate up for office this year has any clue what it is like to fight for a living one day when I heard a speech from Obama.В  He was going on and on about his awesomeness, and how he can relate to the poor people when he said “I’ve been there, I’ve had it hard, I know what it’s like to have to eat pizza every night.”В  Hold up… right there… WTFPANCAKESAUCE?В  Pizza every night?В  How much money did you have?В  Jeez, I wish I had that kind of money… and if that was your “poor” years… how much money do you have now?В  How much of the hundreds of millions of dollars that you’ve raised for your candacy have you used to help anyone?В  You’ve shown the world that you know how to skirt the filters of how much money you can spend on campaign ads… but when are you going to show the world how much of a help you truly can be?

Naw, neither McCain nor Obama are any sort of blessing, neither one understands what life is, or what it is about.В  They don’t get what it’s like to make a living from blogging on $30-$50 a day, shoot man, a pizza costs $20 that’s two thirds of my daily budget… I don’t want either one of you running the country, I want all the small people scattered across this nation running their own country.В  I want the American people making decisions for themselves, not some president telling us we’re too dumb to do things on our own so we have to do things his or her way.В  Bring on the revolution, bring on Ron Paul.

My fiance is calling all of her family telling them about the wedding, she made sure to update me tonight on how that’s going. It was kind of funny when she got to one of her family members, don’t remember exactly who, I’m terrible with names, not to mention I was coding on ApplyMyWay.com (which is coming together very fast, maybe a Beta launch by the end of the week).

Anyways, she was telling them that I “owned” a cat. They just responded that nobody owns a cat… you may think you own a cat, but cat’s aren’t dumb enough to let anyone own them. I was just thinking about that a few minutes ago, and it’s so true. Saying you own a cat is like saying you own the wind. Nobody owns the wind, you may think you own the wind, but you don’t. The longer you believe in foolishness that you do own the wind, the more it will hurt when it proves to you that it cannot be owned.

Awww man, PetitionOnline has been updating their stuff! It’s pretty exciting since I’ve been creating petitions on their site since they first started, and now they’ve got tags, and all sorts of cool stuff. I feel so proud, they’re finally moving into the 21st century! haha, it’s a good site, and it’s awesome seeing it grow up a bit.

It’ll be even more awesome when I get ApplyMyWay.com launched, I then begin on my project for PetitionsForChange.com and that will be really exciting! I won’t have to use someone elses service for my petitions. I’ll be able to get them going myself! Should be nothing shy of awesome! As my other post was related to PR just a little bit ago, ApplyMyWay is my way of getting a PR5 for all of my sites… or at least the important ones. PetitionsForChange is my way of extending that, and keeping it going! I may just come up with some other ideas later on… but for now what I’ve got is gonna have to be good.

I know a good many ways to increase link quality, massively take over search engines for specific, and non-specific terms… but PageRank has always been a bit of a mystery.В  Oh don’t get me wrong I know how you obtain pagerank and what goes into getting it… it’s just been dang near impossible to hold onto for me with so many people paying for it, and getting thousands of incoming links… which seems to be the norm any more.В  So I’ve got to figure out how in the world I can get up with the rest of the people.

Right now I’ve got three websites with solid PR3′s four sites with PR2′s and a lonesome PR1 randomly sitting out there.В  So the question is: what can be done to obtain higher page rank without selling my soul, first born, or life savings?

For me the answer isn’t quite simple, but it’s not exactly complex either.В  In fact the answer lies within one of my PR2 websites right now.В  ApplyMyWay.com to be exact.В  I know I’ve talked a lot about this new site for a while.В  The site really isn’t that huge of a value to me, I mean I’m looking for a $2,000 a month from advertisements from the site, and it really can’t bring in much more than that.В  What I’m also expecting from the site is a PR6 at least to pass on to some of my other sites PR5′s.В  Here’s why:В  ApplyMyWay appeals to a lot of the teeny boppers and MySpace/MyYearbook whores who have hundreds of friends on each.В  So what we try to get is each of them to link to my site, if 10,000 of them (0.04% of the total users on MySpace alone) create a questionaire, application, quiz, etc. and link to it once… I’d be willing to say that the site would get a PR5 pretty quick.

I am not counting on the PR6 right away, that’s something that needs to be established over time, but wouldn’t doubt seeing one within a year or maybe two.В  All the while doing P3 and eventually launching another site similar to it… I’d have to say the exposure and time with lots of pages being created every day it would creap up to a solid 6 in no time.

I must admit that it is most certainly a beautiful thing to see paychecks coming in that are enough to pay all my bills just from blogging. To see these stats for the next thirty days puts a smile on my face:

But when I miss opportunities like this it makes me wish I were online more often to grab some of these:

That’s just how things go though. Can’t win ‘em all. Heck last Wednesday because both CodySortore.com and here on Archmaille.com had decent opportunities I made $91.50 which is really nice I’m gonna be needing that little bit of extra to put towards some advertisements to launch ApplyMyWay.com but since I REALLY would like to have $1,500 to launch the site with… it’s slow and steady steps.

Right now the next step is to make here Archmaille.com more profitable with ads, ArchmailleDesigns.com profitable with ads (as it never really has been “profitable”, just paid for itself), CodySortore.com more profitable with ads (as the only revenue from it comes from P3 or SS). I want them all to reach the level of kclanparty.org which is pulling in 2,300 people a day, since all three have link quality already, it shouldn’t take long before they’re profitable and start pulling in some cash. I also need to get archmailledesigns.com/blog/ accepted to P3 so I can make a minimum of $60 a day from P3, plus around $300 a month from ads with all four sites up and we’ll be looking at $1,800 – $2,000 a month from blogging! At least that’s the two month goal. Three months after that I want to double that with ApplyMyWay.com which is why I need the money to launch it, it’ll take much longer to double my income if I don’t have good advertisement base to start with.

I’ve been laughing at the stock market over the last couple of weeks. It’s interesting to see how different companies are effected by the “crisis” you see a lot of very stable companies that have been smart with their money making huge bank right now (giving out loans to other corporations, buying back their own stock, companies obtaining other businesses at a huge discount). The rest… are well… suffering, being bought out, having lay offs, etc.

Because I focus mostly on the technology aspect of things I’ve really enjoyed watching what Microsoft has done in this time. The day we dropped 777 points in a single day I saw Microsoft sustain value, only dropping maybe half a percentage point. It is true that part of the reason they didn’t drop very much is because of a huge stock buyback they did. When their stock started going down they used the money they had reserved to purchase Yahoo! to buy back some of their own stock… which will make them tons of money when the market climbs again. They also still have TONS of cash on hand that they’ve been looking at other acquisitions with. Google on the other hand who’s been fighting with Microsoft, and operating stock prices way above their earnings dropped like a rock on that day.

I know it’s the cool thing to do for the media to freak out and scare everyone about out “failing” economy… but in all honesty I’m really not freaked out in the slightest, nor do I believe you should be either. Microsoft is proof that the drops you see, though they may effect a lot of corporations, are only temporary, and they effect the shotty companies most. It’s the natural way of our system to purge itself of bad banks, bad businesses, and sketchy tactics. The market will stabilize by itself, if we let it, some businesses will not be around next year, but how many of you would like to have your ice delivered to you every day instead of a refrigerator? Some businesses are outdated, others are just bad, it’s okay for them to go under and be replaced by something else.

Ah, the rule of one half of one percent! I’ve not been abiding by it when it comes to advertising like I should… but then again it’s a little bit sketchy to say that you will for sure get those returns. It’s really difficult to judge the 1/2 of 1% rule when most people online talk about impressions… we don’t want impressions here we want facts! I guess that’s what Compete, and Alexa are good for though…

I’ve recently discovered the beauty of Reddit.com I’ve known about it for some time, just hadn’t gotten into it very much.В  It sort of reminds me of StumbleUpon, or at least from a marketing standpoint it seems to be about as valuable as stumbleupon.В  I saw the power of reddit when Credal came to me saying that one of his sites was hopping and jumping through the ranks!В  He said most of the traffic was coming from Reddit, and now three days later it is STILL coming along quite nicely.В  This inspired me to get into the Reddit crowd.В  I’ve been a contributing member of StumbleUpon for a long time, now I just need to remember to reddit the stuff that I Stumble since the value of your submissions is based upon your karma on the site… I’ve got to get my Karma up by submitting everything worthwhile that I write, and good things I Stumble.

One day down the road after many submissions, and many comments Reddit will be a useful marketing tool though.В  I really wish that BlogoWogo would open up their site to new blogs again though… I’d really like to be able to submit Archmaille.com to their site and increase my power a little bit.В  Just kind of need that link quality to boost me over the edge.
