There are many advantages to a prepaid visa card including the fact that you don’t have to have a bank account or good credit to obtain one! But what I like best is that it is a separate account that I can put money in and just carry my prepaid Visa card with me when I go traveling for the Holidays. My wife and I have her grandma in Michigan, family in Texas, a trip to mid Missouri, and some of my family resides in Kansas. So we’ve got quite a bit of moving around to do. With an 8 month old child that we have to drag along with us we tend to forget or misplace things. With a prepaid visa if I misplace my wallet we don’t lose our life savings if someone picks it up because I just preload it with enough money for our travels.

I don’t know about you but I hate it when I have to shop for insurance… I know that it’s a good idea to continuously check around for insurance price changes so that I know I’m not getting screwed over, but it’s really no fun. Recently I’ve been doing our annual insurance checks (for the car, and health insurance) and it started out as usual… a pain! Couldn’t get a straight answer out of anyone. Oh they all promise they can save you money “Oh Mr. Sortore you’re in luck with your record and the information we’ve gathered on you we can save you X amount per month.” Great! Now how do I save the money? Then I start the process to find that it’s more expensive than what I was paying before, or only cheaper if I pay 12 years in advance (okay just kidding but some times it seems they ask a lot ya know?). I did start to find some insurance leads that seem very promising. They don’t seem to be the usual run around that I’ve come to expect from insurance companies… just straight forward insurance leads and insurance agent listings. In other words real people that I can talk to!

Colin McRae: Dirt 2 (known as just Dirt 2 outside of Europe) is a racing game released in September 2009, and is the sequel to Colin McRae: Dirt. This is the first game in the McRae series since his death in 2007. It was announced on 19 November 2008 and features the late Colin McRae as well as Ken Block and Travis Pastrana. The game features many new race-events, including stadium events. Along with the player, a mobile home car travels from one event to another, and serves as ‘headquarters’ for the player. It features a roster of contemporary off-road events, taking players to diverse and challenging real-world environments. The game takes place over four continents: Asia, Europe, Africa and North America. The game includes five different event types: rally, rally cross, trailblazer, land rush and raid. This World Tour sees players competing in multi-car and solo races at new locations, from canyon racing and jungle trails to city stadium-based events, and also includes a new multiplayer mode.

A demo of the game was released on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace on 20 August 2009. The demo appeared for the PC on November 29 2009, it features the same content as the console demo with the addition of higher graphic settings and a benchmark tool.
