I like the ability to make money from blogging… but it really sucks when I have to write multiple posts in between paid posts for social spark. I like that I’m still making money even in these hard economic times, even when PayPerPost is failing me a little more every day… but once again trying to keep up with all this work and completing random in between posts for everything is getting ridiculous. I don’t do much each day that pertains to gaming and website creation so I don’t know what to write about each day. Especially on a day like today where I had four possible paid posts… that leaves me writing 8 posts for today! I just don’t have that kind of creativity

Bah, so I’m back to having a hard time to decide between Blender and TrueSpace! I really REALLY like blender, it is powerful, intuitive, and once you get used to the short cut keys it reminds me of playing video games to a big with one hand on the keyboard the other on the mouse for maximum productivity… The documentation for TrueSpace is beautiful though, and because it was purchased by Windows a while back it uses DX9 and some features that make things prettier such as HDRI. I’ve been able to achieve much MUCH more with TrueSpace than I ever could with Blender (and after only one day of messing with it, took me a week to figure out how to use Blender, and several days of messing with it to achieve very little). TrueSpace has been discontinued this year… and the latest version is incompatible with the vray rendering engine… so you’ve got to use version 7.6 versus 7.61 not sure what the difference is other than I didn’t know the difference between the two and got 7.61 at first as it is the first available on the download page… only to learn of this fun little discrepancy later on. Which sucks because I created a small project in 7.61 and now can’t import it into 7.6
Since the TrueSpace project has been discontinued it is free… which is nice, but don’t know if the project will be continued, and also makes vray not so possible. Blender is still very active and an alive community… I’d like to know that 3DConnexion products work with blender, but not sure about that either… I want one to navigate easier and help to relieve stress on my right hand (also want a tablet for the same reason so I can kind of alternate mouse/tablet). Anyways there are still a lot of decisions to make… wish I could take some of the interfaces of TrueSpace and put them into Blender, along with the ability to use DX9 or 10 features… I just don’t know anything about OpenGL guess I should research that too

As many of you have read I’ve kind of started playing around with 3D modeling, but since it’s really just a part time hobby thing for now Blender might not be my thing… I don’t say that because I don’t like blender, I really do. I’ve always tried to be a supporter of the open source community, and I’ve been looking over and finding every reason to like blender that I can… trying to find every reason to use it that I can. But recently I’ve also found TruSpace and the documentation for TruSpace is just astoundingly good! It is so organized, complete, and easy to follow from the beginning baby steps. Blender’s documentation is made by people like myself who have used the program and feel comfortable enough to make a video, or write a tutorial… much of the documentation ends up being for older versions and so much gets changed that it really almost needs translation for a newb like myself. Then people use their own lingo and jargon that just make it difficult to follow… so I think I’m going to have to use TruSpace, the documentation won it out for me, plus not having to learn new mouse keystrokes and memorize hot keys is a plus.
One of the many bonding moments my wife and I like to share every night is watching TV. We both get into reality TV series such as survivor, and the like but even those can tend to feel scripted, edited, and just unnatural. That is until we discovered truTV online. truTV is something unique, because the videos are true the reactions are as well just check out the truTV effect and judge for yourself what you think of truTV. When my wife and I spend time watching TV series whether it be reality television, or one of many popular series we tune into each week we both have different viewing styles. I like to talk at the TV either telling characters how dumb they are, or questioning why they don’t just do things this way or that. On the other hand my wife likes to talk about characters like they are old friends that we only get to see once a week or so. No matter what your television/movie watching style is check out the truTV video I’ve included for you here. truTV is for those who are sick of the scripted unnatural lives we see on tv every day and want something true!
I’ll talk more about the back story when I have time, but recently I’ve been playing around with some things that has lead me to Blender. For those of you unfamiliar with the program it is a cross platform very powerful 3d modeling tool. Now I’m not even going to pretend to talk like I know what I’m doing since I’ve only been working with it for a few days now and most of the tutorials I’ve seen on it are for old versions thus leaving me to guess most of what I’m supposed to be doing. None the less I’ve still been playing around with it, learning the basics, the ins and outs… and hopefully when version 2.5 comes out there will be some consistent tutorial updates. Those of you who remember me talking about A2562 a long time ago might remember that it was an ongoing story website I wanted to create… well I’ve decided to make it into more of a 3D interactive world! Similar to Runescape, with some elements of neopets and hopefully still able to retain the ongoing story line. I’m working with what I have to try and create the world in 3D though using Blender… it is a LONG ways off and I’m really just playing with it as a side project for now, but those are the hopes and dreams I have for a2562
Are you one of the millions of Americans with a credit card? Are you having troubles obtaining a credit card with the credit crunch going on now with the recession? If either of these is true you might want to read on for a little insight into what having a credit card could mean to you. Personally I’ve always been the type of person that thought credit cards have two purposes. First emergency uses: Credit Cards are great for when you have nothing left and just need a little help floating for a month or two max. And secondly building credit. One of the easiest ways to bump up your credit score is to obtain a credit card, make lots of small purchases and pay off your credit card each month (preferably even before you get your statement). This technique has been used by many different people to increase credit scores or build a credit history. Credit cards for emergency uses can be a little bit of a touchy subject. I know a lot of people that are strongly against the idea because of the high interest rates involved, and if you need to float more than two months you run the risk of maxing out your credit card and damaging your credit score for a very long time. I still think they server their purpose you just must use them wisely… same with any credit history item.
As the primary “bread winner” for my family it is important to me to know that my family would be protected in case of an accident. If I were to get hurt and become unable to work, or worse yet lose my life leaving my family behind who would take care of them? Would they be protected in case of an emergency? That’s why I’m glad to have a great life insurance company covering me in case something drastic were to happen. I encourage all of my readers to have the same peace of mind with a life insurance policy that ensures your family would be financially secure in such an insecure time as the loss of a loved one.
