The biggest thing that I hate about the new health care bill is that people do not speak of what health insurance has done to the economy. Now that things are crashing and banks are failing we’re finally starting to talk about why a country dependent upon credit is not such a good thing. You can’t even begin to imagine how insane things can get around the house when we want to watch a movie as a family. We’ve got the DVD player, the Television, the Klipsch entertainment system, the VCR player, and various controllers laying around for gaming systems. I’ll never forget the time my mom tried using one of the Xbox controllers to turn on the DVD player… totally priceless. She’s not the only one who gets confused though. I bought all of the equipment and set it up and even I get confused some times. Especially in the dark while watching a movie the Klipsch remote and the Television remote are so similarly shaped that it’s hard to decipher the two of them apart in the dark. I’ll never get rid of our Klipsch home theater system… the Germans really know how to make things sound good! But it’s getting more complex than it needs to be just to watch a movie. It can control all of my devices (minus the Xbox and Playstation 3) while still maintaining my sanity! I can’t believe how many people are just sitting around blindly believing the media and what Obama says about his new policies. I can’t even begin to iterate how important it is for all of us to begin opposing this new Health Care program NOW! There have been many oppositions to my train of thought, Michael Moore’s documentary “Sicko” made a lot of people see only the good of what Canada, and France have for a health care program. What is failed to be announced is that A) Canada doesn’t ever have to fight in any major wars, and when they do they piggy back on us B) France chooses not to fight any expensive wars. These factors mean that they have the money to have a health care program run by the government. Now I’m not saying I agree that we should be the world police by any means, but we have to protect ourselves at the very minimum which leaves very little room for communism in our country. Russia tried being both a world power, and communist it didn’t work… it never does. No country that adopts communism as their primary form of government can sustain themselves. Right now France and Canada can because they have America and the UN (which America makes up 80% of) to protect them… If you love what Canada and France have so much GO LIVE THEIR!!!!
