I checked with the hosting company that I use and it only will cost me $100 to cancel my current server with them.В Which I most certainly am going to take advantage of.В For $100 less than I am currently paying I can get another server that is almost exactly the same as what I have now, except 200mhz faster processor.В Now since they’re both dual core, and that one is faster for less money… it only makes sense.В And it will cost me the same this month as it usually does so I have no problem with doing the switch out.
I would still love to move to a server running RAID 5 for the hard drives.В It doesn’t look like I’ll be doing that any time soon.В I’m lucky to have a dual core processor, and RAID 1 for as little as I’m paying a month.В RAID 0 just isn’t an option either… it would be amazingly awesome to be able to have a Server with a faster hard drive set up though.В Kind of sucks because my HDD’s aren’t even 10,000 RPM they’re just standard 7,200 RPM HDD’s.В One day though I’ll get a server with RAID 5 and 15,000 RPM HDD’s (of course that means I’ll need to be making $5,000 a month on my websites first).В But that’s the goal one day… of course it won’t be achievable with PayPerPost alone, that’s fine I plan on using a variety of websites to make a living with.
