Well, so I never intended on even letting non-computer related articles on this site… however in light of the stock market crash today, and the fact that I’ve really only got my websites to make me money right now… it’s about time to start making money with them.В  You will see more and more P3 articles that seem more than a little bit out of place, and you’re correct.В  Luckily though!В  I only have to keep them up for thirty days at which point they’ll go away and the blog will be cleansed again!В  It was getting too tough to try and launch all my sites into orbit and also working full time for Viacom.В  So the job with Viacom is going away, and I’ll be working full time for myself in launching my sites!

Very soon this blog will be purely gaming and computer tips and tricks, as of now it is making itself useful to make a couple extra dollars.В  Once I have 15 blogs up all specialized though it will be much easier to only put up P3 articles that relate to the site that they’re being put on!

Sometimes I just want to go to the stock market and just scream in the middle of the crowd “Can’t we all just get along?” Because in all honesty we’re not in that big of a mess… the problem comes when no one will cooperate with the other people around them. If for one second people would quit thinking about themselves we could pretty easily pull out of this crisis.

You guys know that with my now 22 sites that I run (and growing at least on a monthly basis if not daily) it’s important that I have Гјber reliable service when it comes to web hosting! Especially with recently moving to a new dual core 2.2ghz, 2 gigs RAM, 250GB raid 1 hdd I’ve spent a LOT and I mean a lot of time on web hosting review sites, and on hosting forums. Yeah, it’s important to get a good price, but that’s the least of my concerns if I can’t get reliable service, well reliable and powerful service. This silly blog gets nearly 600 people a day to it so it’s necessary that I get as much bandwidth as possible, since this site is just a personal blog, and my other sites have a much higher audience as they’re my money making sites!

Make sure that when you’re looking for a new hosting plan you do your homework and look at several web hosting rating sites. I’ve looked over webhostinggeeks.com and like the format a lot, it’s nice to hear back from other customers on issues. I was on the Yahoo Review page, and noticed that many other customers have had a very similar experience to what I had… which is good because since Yahoo! switched to an unlimited plan I almost considered using them again like I had 6 years ago… I can honestly say I’m pretty glad I hadn’t… wouldn’t of known though without sites like webhostinggeeks.com

Even if you don’t need a website you still need webhosting if you plan on running a server be it Counter-Strike or Call of Duty. Make sure you know everything possible about your web host before you purchase your plan. Especially in today’s economy, you don’t want to waste money on something that isn’t valuable to you!

Call me superstitious if you will, but I am taking the drop in the stock market as a good sign.В  Everyone knows the whole 666 as the “Mark of the beast” which is actually the mark of man, but either way.В  It is that number because man was created on the sixth day… well because God rested on the 7th day less known is that 777 is also a common “Mark of the Christ”.В  Or if you’re a betting man old slot machines, and some modern ones, always displayed 777 for the jackpot.

So I think we’ll pull out of it.В  I mean, yeah, we’ve been looking at a depression looming, and a lot worse in some cases (possible invasion if there was any country left with money afterwards).В  But I don’t think it’ll happen.В  This may be the worst day point value drop in history, however, it is not the highest percentage drop in history.В  The 7% drop (hey, there’s our lucky 7 again) doesn’t even touch the 1987 drop of 22% and things weren’t that bad in 1987… I mean I’m not one to ask since I was born in 1986, but it wasn’t any sort of horrible depression.

When the House returns to vote on the bailout bill again by Wednesday it should pass… I mean it’s not like they’re just giving the $700 billion (Hey, more sevens) to the industry… our government is investing it, something that would be a good deal for our government to do more often.В  How would you feel if the Government got rid of the IRS and started making money in other business ventures?В  Wouldn’t you like to keep your entire paycheck?В  How about letting the government support itself?В  Last I heard NASA is the only government program that supports itself with the pattents they own and what not.

Alright, I will admit that most of the time when I go to review a website, especially on design aspects I am mostly referring to companies that couldn’t code their way out of a wet paper sack. And a lot of that comes from working for Viacom where I work with a lot of those companies (though it’s not always their fault since Viacom makes them use the flux platform for like everything). This review is to prove to you all that it is not all bad news from me :-P

A Portland Web Design company that I visited to check out their work has some very nice web design skills. One web development project of theirs that I was particularly impressed with was Zoom Oregon Homes a Portland Oregon Homes site that features a very nice home locator tool. So that people looking for Oregon Real Estate can locate homes in their area. They are not your average sketchy real estate company but instead are actual there to help you get into a house that is right for you! The web development company Synotac that created the website created a number of useful features, and a knowledge base for people to be able to learn the ins and outs of the industry. Which I know is particularly useful for someone like myself that is looking at being a first time home buyer here very shortly. I don’t know all the tricks of the trade, but know there are good places I can go to learn.

Don’t be a Grif… make sure to vote!

Some decisions that people make I just don’t quite understand… Like not voting.В  Why throw away your right to vote?В  Whether you plan on voting for Ron Paul (yeah, I know he’s not running any more but a guy can hope can’t he?), John McCain, or Barack Obama you still need to vote.В  That is what makes us America, especially in a time like this where we are seriously looking at losing our country as we know it, it is most vital now to act as an American and stand up for what you want.

You guys know that I love good technology, no matter what industry that technology is in. And when it comes to technology in the coating and sealant business Belzona has it! I know most of you think that a lot of equipment such as ships, industrial equipment, and mining rigs are simply painted. The truth of the matter is that a lot more goes into the process than a simple once over paint job, or even a thrice over paint job for that matter. In fact many of these items are not painted at all even if it looks like paint. Paint simply doesn’t have the durability to withstand the harsh climates and working conditions this equipment must operate under.

One of my favorite things to do in Combat Arms is to be on Pistol Servers.В  So far most people haven’t caught onto the dual pistol trick, and it makes it pretty easy to pwn a few noobs if you use this simple tactic.В  I always go into pistol servers decked out with my M1911 (plus the extended magazine) and M9 (also with extended magazine).В  Then I make sure to have a heavy bullet proof vest, and a helmet as well.В  This gives me pretty good protection against the noobs using their M9’s and enough time to move out of the way if I get shot from the side or somewhere I can’t see.

I’ve not experimented with it yet but have heard that the USP is a better choice for first line of fire.В  I wouldn’t disagree as the M1911 only carries 7 rounds per clip stock, and 12 with a modified clip.В  Yet with the modified clip you only get two usable clips worth of fire, which can leave you dead in a firefight.В  Also another reason I carry two pistols into battle at all times.В  With my extended clips in both the M1911 and M9 I get a full 32 shots before I must reload 12 of which are potentially one shot kill shots with their .45 caliber bullets being fired to the head.В  It also helps if your enemy has standard, or light armor on which makes pistol wars almost impossible.

Next, lets talk about armor.В  Personally I like to go into battle armored to the gills.В  Like I said before it allows me to take a couple shots before worrying, also makes for approaching enemies outnumbered 3 to 1 a little more feasible.В  If they’re bunched up it’s actually quite easy to take out a pack of 3 or more enemies, simply strafe around them (or back and forth from the opening as this generally happens in tunnels or the like), pointing towards their chest and empty your first clip as fast as you can, the trick is to count your shots and as soon as you get to lets say eleven if you have a twelve round clip hit “2″ to get out your second pistol, never stop clicking the mouse pointing at their chest, or moving and you can very easily take them all out.В  One of the reasons for this is when you strafe they will turn their guns to follow often times ignoring their partners and shooting them too.В  If friendly fire is on they’ve helped you by injuring and possibly killing their friends (or if they’re smart they’ll quit firing if behind their friends which means shots aren’t being fired at you either), if it’s not their friends will block a number of shots that could potentially hit you.

These are pretty basic tips for pistol only fights on Combat Arms… but it will help a few of you who are frusterated when you enter Combat Arms pistol battles.В  Personally I like a good pistol war every now and again since you don’t get the “Pistol Round” like you could in Counter Strike: Source.В  I do still miss my Dual .40 Cal. Berreta’s in CS:S though.

You know I wouldn’t even have this blog, or be doing this if it weren’t for my ability in the internet marketing scheme. It’s impossible to make money online without SOME sort of internet marketing knowledge. And let’s face it most people don’t have the know how or desire to do so or else they would be doing it!

As far as I see it there are two ways to gain the knowledge needed to move into the internet marketing arena. Either spend LOTS of time, and lots of money as I have learning for yourself, or hire a Internet Marketing Consultant. The great thing about internet marketing consulting is that you are only paying a portion for a large amount of knowledge. Look at it this way. I have been running a website for the last four years, now I pay more for my hosting, but if you just want one website you can get away with a 1and1 hosting package for $5 a month. That times twelve months, times four years only comes up to $240 now add in an extra $20 for website fees, whatever you spend in marketing (generally in the thousands if done right) and you end up spending way more to learn it yourself than you would through consulting internet marketing services. The reason for that is that your internet marketing consultant has spent the time and money learning the marketing tricks of the trade, and several other people are paying for that knowledge not just you!

Now I’m generally not the type to read instructions.В  Call me a guy if you will it won’t hurt my feelings, I’m proud of the fact that I can figure out most anything without detailed instructions.В  I don’t even like to follow tutorials for things like CakePHP which I’ve been learning.В  I think up what I want to build with it, and find the tutorials I need to accomplish that taking their instructions and modifying as necessary.В  So logically when I got my new Logitech Wave Keyboard I simply plugged it in not even looking at the instructions or installation disk, went to the Logitech website and downloaded the latest and greatest drivers!В  Well there’s another reason for that too since I’ve been on 64bit Windows Vista I skip the driver installs of well everything since they’re useless to me.В  I have to download the 64bit drivers before I can install my equipment.

Later however for some reason I felt the urge to open the package that contained the small instruction pamphlet (well illustrated might I add) and keyboard drivers.В  In opening up the pamphlet the first thing I saw because of how it was folded was instruction number two which is simply a picture of the front of a computer (A HP from the looks of it) and a finger pushing the power button.В  Under the picture in English, French, Spanish, and Portugese was the instructions “Turn ON computer.”В  Where I thought to myself “Dear Lord if this is the second instruction I can’t even imagine what the first one was.”В  Okay, just so you know your brand new pretty shiney keyboard won’t work without the computer on…. WHEW!!! Glad we got that out of the way, I thought my keyboard was broken, almost had to return it… but as it turns out the computer was just not on… thank you instruction manual for clearifying that, I thought I could use your keyboard without a computer.В  Out of curiosity I flipped through and found instruction number one.В  I was halfway expecting it to be something like “REMOVE keyboard from packaging” I was slightly relieved at the first thing listed being package contents… but not far off from remove keyboard from packaging… guess you’ve already managed to accomplish that step if you’re holding the instruction manual but you never know… and I do sincerely hope you didn’t hurt yourself in the process!
